Ribbon Extravaganza

Faith and I had a craft day before Christmas which included an enlightening trip to the LA Fashion District. If you are a girl and you love crafting you have not lived until you have been there.

Warehouses and warehouses of possibilities, 5 lb bags of fabric scraps for a buck fifty, stores devoted exclusively to plastic cake decorations and fake flowers where everything is 12 for a dollar (or something close to that). We left that store with a bag of trinkets from plastic heart lockets to miniature plastic doves because, I mean, how can you not when it's that cheap?

We could spend a weekend there, but alas, we only had a few hours to spare so we could get back home and actually make something. Of course, we spent another hour at Faith's house sorting out all our fabulous finds. We dream about the day we get to go back...
